Preparations Accelerate for the Fifth Intra-African Trade Fair in Nigeria in 2027

Preparations for the fifth edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF2027) are gathering momentum following the official signing of the Host Country Agreement between the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), the African Union Commission, the Secretariat of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), and the Federal Government of Nigeria. The agreement marks a significant step toward strengthening economic integration and expanding trade across the African continent.
The event is scheduled to take place in Lagos, Nigeria, from 5 to 11 November 2027, bringing together businesses, investors, governments, development finance institutions, buyers, entrepreneurs, and policymakers from across Africa and around the world.
Recognized as Africa’s premier trade and investment platform, the Intra-African Trade Fair aims to boost intra-African commerce, attract investment, foster strategic partnerships, and create new business opportunities throughout the continent.
Organizers have officially opened bookings for exhibition stands and meeting rooms, encouraging companies and institutions from various sectors to secure their participation early. The event provides an ideal opportunity to connect with investors and buyers, expand commercial networks, and strengthen brand visibility in African markets.
Over its first four editions, the Intra-African Trade Fair has established itself as the continent’s leading trade and investment platform, facilitating major business partnerships and commercial transactions while advancing the objectives of the African Continental Free Trade Area and supporting sustainable economic growth and regional integration across Africa.
تتواصل الاستعدادات لتنظيم الدورة الخامسة لمعرض التجارة البينية الإفريقية (IATF2027)، بعد التوقيع الرسمي على اتفاقية الدولة المضيفة بين البنك الإفريقي للتصدير والاستيراد (أفريكسيم بنك)، ومفوضية الاتحاد الإفريقي، وأمانة منطقة التجارة الحرة القارية الإفريقية، وحكومة جمهورية نيجيريا الاتحادية، في خطوة تعكس التزام الأطراف بتعزيز التكامل الاقتصادي والتجاري داخل القارة.
ومن المقرر أن تحتضن مدينة لاغوس النيجيرية فعاليات المعرض خلال الفترة الممتدة من 5 إلى 11 نوفمبر 2027، بمشاركة واسعة من الشركات، والمستثمرين، والحكومات، والمؤسسات المالية والتنموية، والمشترين، ورواد الأعمال، وصناع القرار من مختلف الدول الإفريقية وشركائها الدوليين.
ويُعد معرض التجارة البينية الإفريقية أكبر منصة اقتصادية وتجارية على مستوى القارة، إذ يهدف إلى توسيع المبادلات التجارية بين الدول الإفريقية، واستقطاب الاستثمارات، وتعزيز الشراكات الاقتصادية، إلى جانب فتح آفاق جديدة أمام المؤسسات للدخول إلى أسواق إفريقية واعدة.
وأعلن المنظمون عن فتح باب حجز أجنحة العرض وقاعات الاجتماعات، داعين المؤسسات الاقتصادية والفاعلين في مختلف القطاعات إلى تأكيد مشاركتهم مبكراً للاستفادة من فرص التواصل مع المستثمرين والمشترين، وتوسيع شبكة العلاقات التجارية، وتعزيز حضورهم في الأسواق الإفريقية.
وخلال أربع دورات متتالية، رسخ معرض التجارة البينية الإفريقية مكانته كأهم منصة للتجارة والاستثمار في القارة، بعدما ساهم في تسهيل إبرام شراكات وصفقات تجارية واستثمارية كبرى، بما يدعم أهداف منطقة التجارة الحرة القارية الإفريقية ويعزز مسار الاندماج الاقتصادي والتنمية المستدامة في إفريقيا.
