Bouira – Mohamed El Bachir El Ibrahimi University organized a special welcoming event titled “Marhaba Day” for its international students, under the supervision of Professor Bouazza Boudersaia, the University Rector, and the University Vice-Directorate for External Relations.
The event was attended by international students from various academic disciplines at the university. Several activities were organized to foster communication and cultural exchange between students from different countries, providing a diverse academic environment for all.
In his opening speech, Professor Bouazza Boudersaia expressed his happiness to see international students joining the university community. He emphasized Algeria’s commitment to supporting global academic exchanges and offering full support to international students. He also highlighted the strong ties Algeria shares with Arab and African countries, reaffirming the country’s unwavering support for just causes, such as the Palestinian and Sahrawi causes.
The Rector further emphasized that the event aimed to provide a comprehensive learning environment, not only focusing on academic success but also on cultural and social integration. He assured that the university will continue to prioritize the needs of international students to enhance their overall academic and cultural experience in Algeria.
In response, international students expressed their deep appreciation for the warm hospitality they received, feeling truly valued by the university. Many of them praised the event, noting that it helped them feel at home in Algeria.
At the end of the day, certificates of appreciation were presented to outstanding students in recognition of their academic achievements, followed by a lunch in their honor. The event concluded in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, leaving the students with lasting memories of their experience at Mohamed El Bachir El Ibrahimi University.
